Editorial: The Atlantic
Created a visual piece to accompany the article “Why Some Students are Skipping College” by Jodie Adams Kirshner for The Atlantic using symbols from the feature. The article spoke about low-income, high school graduates not receiving the aid and funding they need for college and deciding to work instead, to avoid debt. I drew fifty symbols I noted in the paper and narrowed it down to ten icons. Of those icons, I created an illustration that helped visualize the content of the article.
