I am a designer, illustrator, and writer based in Orlando. At the University of Central Florida, I double majored and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Studio Art, focused on illustration and contemporary sculptural design, and English Literature. Some of my academic career accomplishments include being an editorial intern for the Florida Review, having an article published for Eclectca Magazine (an art collective), and being awarded the J.R. Hopes Art Merit Award.
As a professional doodler, I am passionate about telling stories through my illustrations, inspired by people, everyday events, and nature. Three artists that I admire are Henry Wong, Venessa Barragáo, and Katie DiCamillo. They all use their mediums to explore worlds and evoke emotion from their audiences. In each of their styles, they produce a sort of warmth and youthful joy I hope to mimic in my artwork.
A life goal of mine is to traverse across Patagonia; I like to pretend I’m scaling it when I’m rock climbing. If I’m not climbing a wall like mountain goat, you can find me reading in new coffee shops, spending time with my dog, Ginger, or making things by hand.
